Within the area there are about 180 lakes and ponds of varying sizes and about 40 km of flowing water.

We have the rainbow lake Dammen with good fishing, Bysjön, 3 km south of the town of Nås with very well-grown pike and perch. The Västerdalälven flows through the town with good stream fishing and several calmer places for angling.
